Diabohr-Tech company founder and owner Axel Günther successfully completed an apprenticeship as a machinist and toolmaker

from 1979 to 1982.

From 1989 to 1999, he headed the diamond tools department of a renowned company in Idar-Oberstein for 10 years.
In 2000 he founded his own diamond tool company Diabohr-Tech with a focus on diamond hollow drills.
In the course of his professional experience, he invented and developed the
Drill Adapter for connection F - also called diamond hollow boring spindle - and had this also registered as an inventor at the German Patent Office (see document).
After successful market introduction and positive response of its customers who had acquired this adapter, he developed the four years later
Drill adapter R 1/2 "for connection F (same technical function as the drill adapter F, only with other threads).
In 2001, he had the idea of converting the PROXXON bench drill TBH to a water-cooled drill, so that it would be possible to work on a cheap table drill with diamond core drills.
Since then he has been selling the rebuilt GS Table Drill to his private & commercial customers.
